Scrapping Goldrush

I didn’t get to attend our annual Fall festival, Goldrush, this year. It breaks my heart, because I always attend to watch my girls march in the parade and help at the school booths. But due to my surgery, I really couldn’t get out in the crowds yet. But DH took lots of pics for me. Here are some I scrapped using Strength & Eternity kits by Tina Williams. I LOVE her Faith Based kits; and these two use our school colors! 🙂

Beautiful Sunsets

I’ll have some pictures to post from this weekend just as soon as I can get my family off my scrappin’ laptop.  (This one doesn’t have enough space to play around with pictures)  But I have some really great pics from the sunset and a storm that moved in last night over the ocean.  I’m finally starting to learn all these buttons and arrows on this digital camera!

Scrapping Patriotic Events

We’ll be on vacation in Florida this year over the July 4th holiday.  We’re taking the girls to a Pirates Independence Day.  They are SO obsessed with Pirates of the Caribbean; so this should be a blast for them.   I’ve already started thinking about how I’ll scrap all our pictures from the trip.  I’ll take my laptop so I can play on rainy days.  Sometimes, if the weather gets really crazy, I even have the pictures scrapped before we even return home.   

This year, my vacation scrap kit needs to be a patriotic-beachy-pirate theme.  This should be a challenge! But I’ve already made some papers to get me started and thought I’d share a preview with you.  I’ll post the papers as freebies over the next week and will share the rest of the kit and some layouts when I return home.   Here are the papers I’ve done thus far:
